What is the difference between CHC and a placement agency?

CHC's mission is to provide transparency in the industry so both our seniors and care home owners can easily connect with each other. A placement agency charges care homes a fee that is a percentage of a new resident's first month's rent, usually between 50% and 125%. This business model leaves room for a conflict of interest. An agency may place a senior in a care home that will pay a higher fee instead of a care home that would be a better fit.

How much does CHC cost?

For our seniors: We offer our website and platform free of charge. This also means that it does not cost you any of your personal information. Once you find a care home that interests you, you can contact the administrator directly without having to first send us your name, phone number, or email address. Your privacy is important to you, and that's important to us. For our care home owners and administrators: It is free to claim your care home profile and upload pictures of your property and information about your services. When you are ready to fill a vacancy, you can upgrade your profile to show that a room is currently available. We offer two free profile upgrades to every care home licensed by the State of Califronia. Each upgrade will stay active until you notify us that your vacancy is filled. Will you be expanding your search results outside of California?

Yes! Once we have perfected the user experience for both our users and our care home administrators, we will be expanding to other states.
